Senior Solution Consultant - Supply Optimization

The Senior Solution Consultant at Kinaxis is a fully proficient professional responsible for understanding customer supply chain challenges and helping them implement Kinaxis solutions, primarily the RapidResponse platform. The role involves leading complex deployments, configuring solutions, and providing expert guidance to optimize supply chain performance.

Location: Remote (UK, France, Germany)

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements discovery sessions for complex implementations.
• Partner with Solution Architect on process design and technical direction.
• Configure the product according to customer needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues.
• Apply advanced mathematical models, optimization techniques, and AI algorithms to supply chain scenarios.
• Validate and test solutions, gather user feedback, and develop recommendations.
• Lead deployment workshops, train customers, and guide them on solution utilization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software implementation or deployment in supply chain planning or execution.
• 2-3 years of experience in a functional leadership role for system configuration or deployment.
• 2-3 years of experience in business process design for supply chain software implementations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership skills and successful track record with customers and executives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, occasionally 100%.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with supply chain processes and planning solutions like RapidResponse, SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder.
