The Government Programs - Performance Excellence Consultant Sr is responsible for managing evaluation, planning, and implementation of initiatives within Advocate Health’s CMS and CMMI programs, leading interdisciplinary project teams to improve healthcare programs and outcomes.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $44.15 - $66.25/hr
Responsibilities
- Manage evaluation, planning, and implementation of initiatives within CMS and CMMI programs.
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams aligned with enterprise population health needs.
- Deploy multi-year improvement initiatives related to government healthcare programs.
- Identify and implement utilization and financial improvement targets.
- Motivate and direct internal teams, set goals, monitor project status, and coordinate go-lives.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate projects from concept to implementation.
- Serve as primary interface with stakeholders, prepare performance measures, and develop baseline measures.
- Communicate outcomes internally and externally, including reporting to leadership.
- Create summaries and translate analyses into actionable recommendations for executive reporting.
- Partner with technology, operations, and analytics teams to develop workflow structures.
- Establish and implement sustainability plans for operational transformation.
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and trends.
Requirements
- Master's degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) or equivalent work experience in Healthcare.
- 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, managed care, or value-based care payment models.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3, Design Thinking, or Model for Improvement.
- Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives with measurable improvements.
- Working knowledge of financial analyses, cost accounting, and reimbursement methods.
