Denial Management Representative - Remote

The Patient Account Representative manages patient accounts, ensuring timely resolution through claims follow-up, insurance collections, and dispute management. The role requires understanding of the revenue cycle, insurance processes, and strong communication skills.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $15.80 - $23.70 per hour

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient account balances using company applications and internet resources.
• Follow up on uncollected accounts with third-party payors and patients.
• Update account information and identify payor issues.
• Request additional documentation and review contracts for billing issues.
• Escalate delays and trends to management.
• Participate in meetings and training.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• 1-4 years of medical claims or hospital collections experience.
• Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm.
• Understanding of revenue cycle, insurance processes, and billing forms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
