Technical Solutions Engineer – Data Platform (Pre-Sales & Customer Success)

Stackable is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to support customers and partners in deploying and optimizing the Stackable Data Platform across various environments. The role involves pre-sales, technical account management, community engagement, and representing the company at events.

Location: Remote (Germany)

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and demos for customers.
• Collaborate with sales to promote solution adoption.
• Assist customers with architecture optimization, deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Build trustful relationships with customers to ensure their success with the Stackable Data Platform.
• Work with cloud service providers, technology partners, and system integrators to integrate and enable Stackable solutions.
• Maintain relationships with developers, data professionals, and open-source communities to foster collaboration.
• Represent Stackable at industry events, deliver presentations, and create content to promote the platform.

Requirements

• Practical experience with data platforms, cloud infrastructures, or distributed systems.
• Experience with data streaming or Data Lakehouse architectures, especially with Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, OpenSearch, Apache Airflow, Trino, and Apache Superset.
• Strong communication skills and experience in technical account management.
• Passion for open source, customer success, and partner enablement.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (about once a month) for customer, partner, or industry events.
