Staff Product Engineer (Belo Horizonte)

LawnStarter is a leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services, expanding into a broader home services platform, with a focus on innovative engineering practices including AI coding agents.

Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Salary: USD $80,000–$100,000 annual base

Responsibilities

• Own the full technical lifecycle of initiatives, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and post-launch review.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape solutions and ensure impact.
• Make autonomous technical decisions with architectural review for significant choices.
• Develop and maintain workflows for AI agents to ensure safe, correct, and efficient code shipping.
• Own the outcome of initiatives, including impact measurement and post-launch analysis.

Requirements

• Deep experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent.
• Experience operating at a lead or senior level, making critical technical decisions.
• Outcome-driven mindset with a focus on metrics and impact.
• Strong collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and engineering peers.
• Decisiveness in architecture, data modeling, and rollout strategies, with documentation.
