Senior Support Engineer - SAP FICO (Finance, Controlling & Product Costing)

Rimini Street, Inc is a global provider of enterprise software support, managed services, and AI ERP solutions, serving Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and government organizations. They are seeking a Sr. Support Engineer specializing in SAP FICO to support complex SAP environments remotely across the US.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: 128k - 192k USD depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for SAP FICO, with strong emphasis on Product Costing (CO-PC), Material Ledger, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including month-end close, costing, variance analysis, and cross-module integrations (FI, MM, SD, PS).
• Perform root cause analysis in highly customized SAP environments.
• Support SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures and project cost integration.
• Work directly with clients to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects, develop fixes, and support global customers in a 24x7 support model.
• Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on FICO, particularly Controlling (CO).
• Strong working knowledge of standard SAP FI operations (GL, AP, AR).
• Deep hands-on expertise in Product Costing (CO-PC) and Material Ledger.
• Proven experience troubleshooting month-end close issues, costing variances, and settlement processes.
• Strong understanding of CO-FI integration and cross-functional processes (MM, SD, PS).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) configuration.
• Experience working in production support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a global, virtual team environment.
