Senior Software Engineer

Ethena is a remote-first company specializing in compliance training that adapts to individual and organizational needs using AI. They support over 1 million learners across 2,000+ organizations and offer a platform that unifies compliance tools.

Location: United States or Canada

Salary: $180k–$200k

Responsibilities

• Develop full stack software using Typescript, MySQL, React, and Next.js.
• Direct AI coding agent(s) to assist in building products quickly while maintaining quality.
• Own features from idea to production.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and the wider team.

Requirements

• Hunger for building great software faster using AI coding agents, with understanding of pitfalls.
• Knack for simple and elegant system design.
• Deep expertise in building and maintaining web applications, especially in B2B.
• Comfort with Javascript/Typescript, MySQL, React, Next.js, and AWS.
• Experience with agile software shipping (Git, CI/CD, database migrations, logging & monitoring, infrastructure).
• Self-starter who thrives in a hands-off environment, takes ownership, and works proactively with minimal oversight.
• Passion for Ethena’s mission and core values, including humor.
