Senior Sales Engineer - Data & AI Security

Veeam is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical sales efforts for their Securiti AI portfolio, focusing on data security, AI trust, and cloud security solutions. The role involves guiding customers through needs assessment, solution design, demos, and proof-of-concepts, requiring strong technical expertise and enterprise sales experience.

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $222,200—$412,700 CAD

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for Securiti AI solutions during the sales cycle.
• Lead discovery to translate risk, architecture, and business goals into a practical solution approach.
• Design and deliver tailored demos and hands-on proof-of-concepts.
• Drive technical conversations on AI Trust, Data Discovery, DSPM, Data Access & Governance, and Compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive enterprise sales experience in data protection, cloud security, networks, and AI.
• Proven ability to develop trust with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong technical leadership in enterprise data protection, cloud security, networks, and AI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of data privacy/security and compliance programs (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Ability to build and run demos and POCs as a technical lead.
• Technical fluency with Linux, Kubernetes, cloud/data architectures.
• Expertise with DSPM, DLP, data discovery, cloud/data systems.
