Senior QLab Support Specialist (Half Time)

Figure 53, a Baltimore-based software company, is hiring a part-time Senior QLab Support Specialist to provide technical and licensing support for their flagship product, QLab, used in live performance control.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $76,000/yr for 20 hours/week, with profit sharing after one year, benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, SIMPLE IRA, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer licensing and technical questions about QLab via email.
• Provide clear, friendly, and supportive customer support.
• Collaborate with team to solve difficult issues.

Requirements

• Moderate or expert experience with QLab (at least 1-2 years).
• Superb writing skills.
• Experience in theater production environment, understanding terms like standby, spike, strike.
• Compassion, empathy, and ability to convey support via email.
• Patience, pleasant demeanor, and teamwork skills.
• Basic macOS administration skills.
• Willingness to learn complex licensing system and other technical skills.
• Ability to manage own calendar and work independently.
