Senior Clinical Research Associate (Belgium)

Manage, deliver and perform full clinical site monitoring services for projects, including training, site/patient recruitment, data management, and regulatory filings. Act as Lead CRA, liaising between CRAs and project team, and represent the company with stakeholders.

Location: Remote

Salary: €58k–€78.5k

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert, mentor, coach, and provide performance feedback to peers.
• Assist with selection, hiring, training, and supervision of CRAs.
• Perform co-monitoring and training visits with CRAs.
• Act as escalation point for site/patient issues or Sponsor concerns.
• Manage monitoring services for projects and CRAs, guiding activities and reviewing reports.
• Liaise between CRAs and other teams, escalating issues.
• Participate in study meetings and serve as primary contact for sponsors.
• Identify and recruit site investigators, coordinate trial materials and documents.
• Ensure SOPs for patient recruitment and site compliance.
• Act as primary contact for investigational site questions or issues.
• Oversee study integrity and relationships with site staff.
• Support site staff with access to systems and compliance.
• Follow up on site issues until resolution.
• Coordinate communication with sites and project teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of a college diploma/degree.
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• Self-motivation and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and collaborative relationship-building.
• Critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to travel regularly.
• Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
