SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell their Identity Security Solution, focusing on building customer relationships, managing sales cycles, and developing strategic account plans.

Location: Germany

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Effectively address customer and partner inquiries with tailored solutions.
  • Develop business plans for assigned territory.
  • Engage with customers and partners to maintain high customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and channel teams to develop and execute plans.
  • Pursue leads and update internal systems.
  • Lead technical demonstrations and follow-up activities.
  • Own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Understand the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, and competitors.
  • Communicate product and technological strategies of competitors and complementary organizations.
  • Manage discussions across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Utilize channel management and reporting tools, including Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills for initial engagement and discovery calls.
  • Proficiency in understanding and presenting SailPoint solutions and competitors like Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • Ability to provide a superior customer experience and position solutions competitively.
  • Experience leading virtual teams including partner resources, presales, and customer success teams.
  • Ability to act as a quarterback, take initiative, and prepare the team for calls.
  • Skill in creating territory or opportunity plans.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine sales strategies.
