Remote Enterprise Senior Accountant - India

System Six is a remote organization providing cloud-based accounting, payroll, bill-pay, invoicing, and sales tax services to clients nationwide. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and finance tasks for their Enterprise division, focusing on US-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations for clients including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, reconciliations.

Requirements

• Accounting and payroll experience in a multi-client environment with US-based clients.
• College degree required. CPA/CAS firm experience is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies with at least 2 years running payroll, paying bills, and handling all day-to-day transactional duties with US-based clients in multiple industries.
• 3+ years in NetSuite, SAGE, Intaact, QBO, Bill.com, Advanced Excel, Gusto or other payroll software.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret large data into meaningful financial reports.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting for PE and/or VC funded portfolio companies.
• Experience in managing audits for clients is a strong plus.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients.

Additional Information

• This role is initially a contractor position, transitioning to full-time as the team grows.
