Assistant General Counsel, Archimedes

Navitus is hiring an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to manage legal support and lead a team of attorneys and paralegals, ensuring compliance and providing legal analysis for various organizational needs.

Location: Remote

Salary: USD $162,722.00 - USD $203,403.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, regulations, products, employment law, intellectual property, financial offerings, real estate transactions, and strategic planning.
• Work collaboratively to ensure compliance with relevant laws, ethical practices, and company mission.
• Manage the effectiveness of the legal team in meeting organizational needs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain and update contract templates.
• Manage licensing and regulatory processes.
• Guide legal aspects of new initiatives and policies.
• Research legal issues and maintain knowledge of applicable laws.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in at least one US state; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of legal experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
• Ability to support compliance objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
