Property Claims Examiner II - Wind/Hail

Salary: USD $76,829.00 - USD $142,213.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve Homeowners claims of moderate complexity, documenting damages and writing repair estimates.
• Use imagery and video technology to collaborate with vendors and insureds virtually.
• Determine coverage based on policy facts, extend or deny coverage as appropriate.
• Establish reserve amounts and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Communicate effectively with insureds and their representatives to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage claims workload, monitor progress and expenses, and review files handled by independent adjusters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain state-specific property claims licensing.
• Complete formal property claims training program.
• Prior experience with estimating software like Xactimate.
• Experience in property claims, customer service, construction, restoration, or mitigation.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Bilingual and/or military experience is a plus.
• 3-5+ years of industry experience preferred.
