Mothers to Daughters (M2D) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering women through leadership, entrepreneurship training, educational workshops, and networking. It aims to foster gender equality, leadership, and social change through intergenerational mentorship and community service.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding mentees into the mentorship program, ensuring they receive all necessary resources and information.
- Handle program-related administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records of mentee/mentor pairings and tracking their progress throughout the cohort.
- Take minutes during meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed up.
- Draft professional emails and communications related to the mentorship program.
- Act as the point of contact for mentors and mentees, facilitating smooth communication and addressing inquiries.
- Assist in creating or organizing program resources such as guides, toolkits, or FAQs for mentors and mentees.
- Help develop email templates, meeting agendas, or workshop materials to streamline processes.
- Assist with creating slide decks for presentations and collaborative meetings.
- Maintain and organize program-related documents on the shared drive for easy accessibility.
- Support with internal reports or presentations on program performance.
- Collaborate on creating promotional videos or visual content to highlight the program’s impact.
- Attend mentorship program workshops to provide logistical and participant management support.
- Support virtual workshop coordination, including technical setup and participant engagement.
- Assist with drafting and organizing content for social media campaigns.
- Help prepare marketing materials and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administrative, program coordination, or content creation roles is an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
- Experience with social media platforms and drafting marketing content is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and work independently when required.

Additional Information
- Serve at the organization for 1 year.
- Ability to meet and collaborate weekly via Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft and Slack with the team.
- Ability to attend monthly Team All Hands via Zoom.
- Approximate time commitment: 5 hours per week.
