The Pharmacy Intake Supervisor at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is responsible for supervising the Intake Team, ensuring high-quality service, and managing pharmacy operations in a remote setting within Florida.
Location: Florida - Remote
Responsibilities
- The Pharmacy Intake Supervisor is responsible for providing efficient and high-quality service to internal and external customers through the daily supervision of the Intake Team staff that includes hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, counseling, training and problem solving.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Displays role model behavior, work ethic, and leadership skills. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
- Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school education required
- Active State of Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a pharmacy work environment or equivalent is required
- Previous management/supervisory experience preferred
- Analysis & Critical Thinking skills including problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills.
- Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness.
- Good command of the English language; second language is an asset.
- Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), active listener, and ability to provide balanced feedback.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance, and operational excellence.
- Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, project management ability.
- Human Resources Management skills including hiring, coaching, supporting staff development, managing resources, performance, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CPR+, ONCO, and ORCA.
- Less than 25% travel.
