Payroll Supervisor

The Payroll Supervisor oversees payroll processing, supervises payroll staff, and ensures data integrity for timely and accurate payroll operations.

Salary: $82,600 - $113,500 depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor all tasks and initiatives necessary for payroll processing objectives.
• Supervise payroll staff and functions.
• Maintain data integrity for payroll processing.
• Handle complex payroll processes including incentives, garnishments, commissions, and shift differentials.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements.
• Resolve employee and operational payroll escalations.
• Support payroll processors and analysts with complex issues.
• Respond to requests from unions, tax authorities, and agencies.
• Track payroll metrics and KPIs.
• Manage garnishment wage orders.
• Process payroll for disaster relief operations.
• Provide technical expertise on payroll applications.
• Create complex ad-hoc reports for payroll data analysis.
• Support development of training programs for payroll staff.
• Lead process improvement projects.
• Perform other related duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience.
