Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $80,000–$90,000/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary resource for employees on HR, Payroll, and Benefits for multiple clients.
  • Keeps management advised of potential issues and recommends solutions.
  • Manages relationships with client representatives, employees, management, and vendors.
  • Coordinates client meetings, prepares agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Interprets client contracts, manages billable work, and tracks/report time.
  • Responds to inquiries, resolves issues, and documents communication.
  • Manages termination processes, interfaces with auditors, and coordinates claims.
  • Administers health, welfare, and retirement plans, including open enrollment.
  • Manages leaves of absence, prepares census for testing, and submits regulatory reports.
  • Independently manages multi-state payroll, audits records, and performs calculations.
  • Trains employees on timekeeping and wage compliance.
  • Balances earnings/deductions, prepares ledger entries, and manages payroll changes.
  • Serves as client representative with state agencies.
  • Prepares reports for audits, manages garnishments, and system conversions.
  • Prepares government reports for compliance.
  • Travel to client locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of HR, Payroll, and Benefits experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and internet.
  • Experience with ADP, BambooHR, Paylocity, UKG preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations (COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
