National Account Manager - UPS Power

The National Account Manager is a key sales role within Vertiv, responsible for managing high-priority enterprise accounts, promoting Vertiv's product portfolio including LV Switchgear, Busbar, ACP UPS, ELS, and Thermal Management, and driving growth through strategic account management and technical sales support.
Location: UK & Europe
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Promote Vertiv’s product offerings across the account hierarchy, mapping stakeholders and engaging relevant content.
- Inform accounts about new product developments and identify solutions for their needs.
- Develop and lead new opportunities within accounts, supporting bids and negotiations.
- Participate in marketing activities for Vertiv products and services.
- Develop and manage account plans to grow and retain business.
- Participate in pipeline creation, review, and demand generation activities.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct presentations to stakeholders, including technical deep-dives and value propositions.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust and encourage repeat business.
- Use reporting and forecasting tools to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
- Work towards increasing Vertiv’s market share and meeting/exceeding sales and financial targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in account management.
- Proven track record in enterprise industry and sub-segments.
- Knowledge of LV Switchgear, Busbar, UPS, ELS Topology, or Thermal Management.
- Experience in commercial negotiations and stakeholder mapping.
- Ability to develop and execute account plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Sales experience in critical engineering applications or product sales.
- Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of legal and commercial policies.
- Influencing, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently.
- Driving License.
Additional Information
- Travel within UK & Europe required, including occasional overnight stays.
