Mortgage Processor

Griffin Funding is seeking experienced mortgage processors specialized in Non-QM loans, including DSCR and Bank Statement loans, to handle complex files and build expertise in investor products. The role involves pre-underwriting, strategic decision-making, and contributing to a high-performance team.

Location: United States

Salary: $3,750–$5,000 in bonuses on top of base salary, with strong performers earning $10,000+ per month

Responsibilities

• Pre-underwrite files before submission, catching guideline conflicts, income errors, and property issues.
• Handle complex loan scenarios such as bank statement income, P&L programs, DSCR investor loans, multiple property scenarios, and self-employed borrowers.
• Communicate effectively with borrowers and loan officers, explaining requirements and updates.
• Manage files responsibly, ensuring quality and timely funding.

Requirements

• 2+ years of processing residential loans in NON-QM, specifically DSCR & Bank Statement loans within the past 2 years.
• Experience with LOS, reading credit reports, understanding program guidelines and investor overlays.
• Proficiency in calculating complex income, including self-employed income, variable compensation, and rental income.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, communicate professionally, and learn continuously.
