Maternal Mental Health Therapist

Foresight is an outpatient mental health company in California offering virtual and in-person therapy, actively hiring a Maternal Mental Health Therapist for their MMH Specialty Program to provide evidence-based perinatal mental health care.

Location: California

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to individuals in the perinatal period using evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain a clinical caseload of 25-35 clients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Support screening, intake, and assessment for appropriate care.
• Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines for coordinated care.
• Provide crisis management and stabilization.
• Participate in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds.
• Contribute to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development.
• Collaborate with leadership on program growth.
• Develop and deliver internal education on perinatal and reproductive mental health.
• Create and present client-facing education, workshops, or support groups.
• Represent the MMH program at events.
• Advocate for maternal mental health.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist.
• Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification strongly preferred or significant experience in mental health care during pregnancy and postpartum.
• Minimum of two years post-license experience in behavioral health, IOP, or PHP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce.
