Janitor

The Janitor at our Pipe Fabrication Facility is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing cleaning duties, minor maintenance, and safety protocols. The role requires attention to detail, independence, and teamwork, with a focus on hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards.
• Clean and maintain office spaces, including desks, windows, and common areas.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables from all areas.
• Routine floor care such as waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Keep windows clean and streak-free.
• Monitor and report inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements.
• Report safety hazards or incidents to the Facility Manager.
• Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks like changing light bulbs and fixing plumbing issues.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in safety training and meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
