The role is for a Head of Sales & Sales Performance responsible for driving growth, performance, and results in the sales organization of a purchasing community in Germany and Austria. The position involves leading sales teams, managing sales KPIs, and working closely with regional sales managers and partners.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the growth of the purchasing community in Germany and Austria with a focus on pipeline, sales opportunities, and closing rates.
- Lead the field sales and all sales-related internal departments at the Leipzig location.
- Manage and strengthen indirect sales in collaboration with regional sales managers and sales representatives.
- Ensure market potentials are systematically converted into qualified sales opportunities.
- Increase key sales KPIs such as lead quality, conversion, forecast, productivity, and closing strength.
- Ensure high-quality and efficient processing of incoming orders and improve collaboration between field sales and internal sales.
- Lead the Leipzig location and serve as the central contact for all sales-related topics.
- Work closely with leadership in adjacent areas like customer management and marketing to ensure effective interfaces.
Requirements
- Multiple years of sales and leadership experience in a B2B environment.
- Operational experience in indirect sales, especially with sales representatives and field structures.
- Understanding of both strategic and operational aspects of sales, with a preference for close market engagement.
- Hands-on mentality and leadership style that involves working directly with teams and partners.
- Experience in measurable sales performance improvement and KPI management.
- Analytical thinking, pragmatic action, and deriving clear measures from data.
- Convincing leadership qualities, responsibility-taking, and team management skills.
- Active approach to topics, decision-making, and implementation.
