The Director – Strategic Alliances & Ecosystem Partnerships at Spektra Systems is responsible for building, managing, and expanding the external ecosystem around their cloud commerce and billing automation platform, C3. This leadership role involves strategic partnership development, technical collaboration, and go-to-market initiatives to enhance product strategy, partner growth, and market expansion.

Location: Remote (may transition to onsite in future)

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute C3's ecosystem and alliance strategy.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic technology partners and integration opportunities.
  • Build long-term partnership roadmaps aligned with C3 product and business goals.
  • Evaluate ecosystem opportunities based on customer demand, revenue potential, retention impact, and strategic value.
  • Develop business cases and ROI models for new integrations and partnerships.
  • Build executive and operational relationships with providers like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft, and other vendors.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, negotiations, integration discussions, joint planning, technical collaboration, and alliance governance.
  • Coordinate API access, sandbox provisioning, certification, onboarding, and security discussions for integrations.
  • Lead ecosystem-driven go-to-market initiatives including webinars, co-marketing, marketplace listings, customer events, sales enablement, partner referrals, co-sell motions, and launch campaigns.
  • Monitor vendor roadmaps, API changes, marketplace programs, channel initiatives, competitive activity, emerging tech trends, and AI ecosystem developments.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and leadership to coordinate ecosystem initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, technology alliances, ecosystem development, cloud partnerships, SaaS business development, or ISV alliances.
  • Proven experience working with cloud or SaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience managing executive-level vendor relationships.
  • Experience leading strategic partnership initiatives from concept through execution.
