Business Development Manager, Real-World Data

Glooko is seeking a Business Development Manager, Real-World Data to drive growth within the Life Sciences sector by acquiring new business and expanding RWD and RWE offerings, focusing on partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Research the Life Science industry to identify prospective partners and key stakeholders requiring RWD/RWE solutions.
  • Prospect potential partners through cold outreach, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Define and implement stakeholder mapping and account plans to build a network of key accounts.
  • Own the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to relationship building, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to design and refine sales collateral.
  • Codify account management processes for relationship management, retention, and growth.
  • Align internally with sales, product, marketing, regulatory, and legal teams to evolve products/services and ensure contract compliance.
  • Use Glooko and industry tools to develop BD targets and maintain records in Salesforce.
  • Assist with sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and reporting.
  • Maintain strong operational, technical, and market knowledge.
  • Support operational aspects of project deliverables and internal quality compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience owning commercial targets and delivering revenue growth through new business acquisition.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding clients’ business goals and anticipating future needs.
  • Experience with partner program development and management.
  • Flexibility to scale with the organization.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Foundational understanding of diabetes and comorbid conditions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
