Associate Consultant

An entry-level role supporting Maximo implementation projects at Cohesive, a leading Maximo provider within Bentley Systems, focusing on enterprise asset management across various industries.

Location: Canada

Responsibilities

• Support Maximo implementation projects under the guidance of senior consultants, interfacing with clients to understand their business requirements and translating them to technical solutions within IBM Maximo.
• Configure IBM Maximo software to meet client-specific requirements.
• Document business requirements, functional and technical specifications, test cases and user training guides as needed.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment phases of projects, as assigned.
• Apply standardized software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies to project tasks.
• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized higher educational institution, in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, C#, or other programming languages.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust with clients, and handle inquiries or challenges with professionalism and care.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, hybrid or home-based in Canada.
• May require some travel to client site, limited to a maximum of 50% a year.
• Physical requirements include sitting or standing at will while working on a computer and communication with colleagues in person or via Microsoft Teams.
