An Associate Claims Examiner role suitable for individuals starting their insurance career, performing technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy and quality, with training provided.
Location: Remote Flexible working with the opportunity for hybrid working from Chatham/London
Responsibilities
- Conducts technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy, able to notice discrepancies or errors within the documentation.
- Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries and issues related to the work being processed.
- Ownership of own workload.
- Input details into the database to initiate settlement / updates.
- Complete accurate reporting associated to the work being processed.
- Supports and inputs to innovation and process improvement projects.
- Reviewing / validating insurance documentation.
Requirements
- Strong numeracy, verbal and literacy skills.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office.
- Work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational, personal and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Positive attitude and natural curiosity to identify improvements.
