Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining store standards in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads all company best practices and maximizes productivity.
• Assists in analyzing store reports and evaluating performance.
• Ensures proper scheduling and compliance with regulations.
• Manages payroll and associate cleaning tasks.
• Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing associates.
• Monitors expenses and controls payroll hours.
• Ensures a safe environment and conducts safety meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and supervises staff in service areas.
• Maintains store appearance and brand standards.
• Oversees merchandise processing, presentation, and markdowns.
• Assists with loss prevention and inventory processes.

Requirements

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in retail.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise judgment.
• High-quality customer service skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic mathematical skills.
