Alta Video Sales Specialist - North Europe

The Alta Video Sales Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for growing the Alta Video business by supporting sales teams, developing customer relationships, and driving adoption of the company's cloud-native video security platform. The role involves collaboration with partners, participating in trade shows, and conducting demos, with a focus on achieving sales targets in the assigned region.

Location: Remote (EU)

Responsibilities

  • Grow the Alta Video business in the region
  • Support local sales reps with Alta Video opportunities
  • Develop the business working with Motorola VSA partners
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new customer relationships within partner and end-user communities
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the region
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet channel performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Drive adoption of company programs among assigned region customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering Leadership to identify, build, and execute go-to-market programs and solutions
  • Participate in tradeshows
  • Do demos / PoCs to customers
  • Travel extensively

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in a B2B technology/SaaS environment with a successful track record
  • Proven territory management, prospecting, negotiation, presentation skills, and client relationship skills
  • Proficient knowledge of cloud-based video security, VMS, and/or building automation products
  • Experience in selling enterprise solutions
  • Effective understanding of the Overlay culture and environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent hunter and entrepreneur
  • University degree required
  • Valid drivers' license with a clean record
  • Pass a background check
  • Fluency in German (mandatory), other languages are an advantage

Additional Information

  • This role is primarily remote with extensive travel.
  • Travel requirement over 50%.
