Virtual Primary Therapist

Our treatment center utilizes evidence-based practices and holistic methods to provide individualized recovery experiences for individuals struggling with addiction. We are seeking a Virtual Primary Therapist to join our team and help deliver high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes.

Location: Portland, ME

Salary: $60,000–$70,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Participates in and leads therapeutic groups and activities and functions as an active member of the team
• Demonstrates clinical treatment in compliance with JCAHO standards
• Recognizes the unique needs and behaviors of the clients
• Assists in preparation of utilization review monthly reports
• Provides assessments with empathy and concern for clients and arrives at accurate diagnoses by the end of the evaluation session and updates when new information and clinical status warrant
• Provides clinical consultation and guidance to staff consistent with their needs
• Assists program supervisor to perform chart reviews
• Takes a lead role in the coordination and assessment of all intakes and referrals to assigned programs
• Acts as liaison with all referral sources, and community-based services

Requirements

• Full /Conditional Clinical Licensure in state of Maine (preferred)
• Minimum of Master's level education is related field
• Experience in Substance Use Treatment counseling
