Video Editor and Graphic Designer

The role involves creating and editing videos and print graphics for social media campaigns focused on animal rights, requiring proficiency in video editing and graphic design software, with a preference for Chinese language skills.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Create videos from concept to completion for social media channels including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Miaopai, and Tencent.
• Produce print graphics and advertisements for online use.
• Select and digitally cut video footage for sequences.
• Fine-tune video content as needed.
• Edit videos by adding music, correcting footage, and applying special effects.
• Ensure quality control of videos.
• Follow legal guidelines in video production.
• Stay current on social media trends and capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Proven experience with video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, EDIUS Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Simplified Chinese skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of all stages of video editing.
• Strong creative and digital technology skills.
• Understanding of the creative process.
• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to the organization's objectives.
