Tax Analyst

Prepares and files tax returns, analyzes accounts, and performs research related to accounting and finance principles. Requires 2-5 years of experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong organizational skills. Fully remote position based in the US.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and files tax returns
• Analyzes and reconciles accounts
• Prepares and annotates variance reports
• Performs research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches

Requirements

• 2-5 Years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Understanding of various federal, state, and local taxes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong data organization and analysis skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
