Data Scientist

A Client Facing Data Scientist role focused on driving innovation in fraud detection by leveraging data analytics, modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Location: United States

Salary: $115,400 - $192,300 per year, plus annual incentive bonus

Responsibilities

• Use and suggest new tools and scripts to optimize models and policies leveraging data points from LexisNexis Risk Solutions products.
• Scope, plan, and deliver customer-focused projects including proof of values, analytics, go-lives, and custom models.
• Support research and innovation within the team, including design of genetic algorithms, feature engineering, and network analysis.
• Explain complex data patterns to non-technical audiences through presentations.
• Develop and maintain best practices for the team.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to improve products and share knowledge.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel, and LUA.
• Quantitative skills and ability to quickly learn new tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with BI tools such as SuperSet, PowerBI, Snowflake, CoPilot, Jupyter.
• Ability to build expertise in cybercrime and industries like Financial Services, E-commerce, Gaming, Telecommunications.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
