NTT DATA is seeking a Tableau Admin with AWS expertise to manage and optimize Tableau Server environments hosted on AWS, ensuring security, performance, and seamless data integration.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $87,952 - $162,875/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Tableau Server environment hosted on AWS.
• Ensure efficient operation, data security, and integration with data sources and analytics tools.
• Manage, configure, and administer Tableau Server on AWS, including setting up sites and managing user access and permissions.
• Monitor server activity/performance, conduct system maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data sources and dashboard performance.
• Implement and manage security protocols, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy policies.
• Automate monitoring and server management tasks using AWS and Tableau APIs.
• Assist in designing and developing complex Tableau dashboards.
• Provide technical support and training to Tableau users.
• Stay updated on Tableau and AWS features and best practices, recommending improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Tableau Administrator, with strong skills in Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop.
• 10+ years’ experience with IT.
• 2+ years’ experience with AWS, particularly with services relevant to hosting and managing Tableau Server (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
• Experience with automation, scripting, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Strong understanding of security, access control, and governance models.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platform capabilities and product updates.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on platform stability and user experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and feature releases.

Additional Information

• Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Nice to Have: Exposure to AI features, familiarity with SQL, data integration, ETL, data warehousing, certifications in Tableau and AWS.
