Strategic Sourcing Partner, MedTech

The role is for a Strategic Sourcing Partner in MedTech, focusing on talent market intelligence, proactive pipelining, and engagement of specialized passive talent within the MedTech ecosystem, including R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical roles.
Location: Mexico
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on MedTech talent markets, including competitors, key talent hubs, and emerging skill trends
- Provide insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring risks within regulated environments (e.g., FDA, ISO)
- Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract niche, high-demand MedTech talent
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, research institutions, life sciences communities, and AI-enabled sourcing tools
- Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive candidates across critical MedTech functions
- Anticipate future hiring needs tied to product development cycles and regulatory milestones
- Deliver personalized, high-touch outreach that resonates with specialized technical and clinical talent
- Build long-term relationships with candidates in highly competitive and niche talent pools
- Collaborate with TA Partners, hiring managers and business stakeholders to align on role requirements, technical competencies, and market strategy
- Participate in intake sessions and ongoing calibration to refine targeting and outreach approaches
- Track and analyze sourcing metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, diversity mix) to optimize performance
- Continuously refine sourcing strategies based on data and market insights
- Amplify Fortive’s employer value proposition within MedTech and life sciences communities
- Support talent branding initiatives across sourcing channels and professional networks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, or related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing within MedTech, medical device, life sciences, or healthcare technology sectors
- Proven track record of building pipelines for niche, hard-to-fill roles (e.g., Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, R&D)
- Strong understanding of MedTech functional areas and the impact of regulatory environments on talent needs
- Expertise in sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping, and AI-enabled platforms
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sourcing strategies
- Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills across global talent markets
- Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and embraces ambiguity
