Strategic Sales Executive

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell their Identity Security Solution, focusing on engaging with prospects, understanding their needs, and leading sales cycles to drive revenue growth.

Salary: $123,750 - $208,624/yr
Responsibilities
- Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Effectively address each customer’s and partner’s inquiries with tailored solutions.
- Develop business plans for your territory.
- Engage with customers and partners to maintain high customer service levels.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Pursue all leads and update internal systems.
- Lead technical demonstrations of SailPoint's solutions.
- Follow-up with customers and post-sale teams to ensure ongoing coverage and new sales.
- Own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Foster understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
- Understand and communicate product and technological strategies of competitors and complementary organizations.
- Manage discussions across all levels of customer organizations.
- Utilize channel management and reporting tools, including Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT, business, or sales-related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills for initial engagement and discovery calls.
- Proficiency in understanding and presenting SailPoint solutions and competitors.
- Ability to provide a superior customer experience and position solutions competitively.
- Experience leading virtual teams of partner resources, presales, and other sales-related roles.
- Ability to act as a quarterback, take initiative, and prepare the team for calls.
- Decision-making skills regarding engagement and accountability.
- Ability to create territory or opportunity plans.
- Work closely with leadership to refine sales strategies.
