Software Engineer — MVP Build (AI-Assisted Development)

Hiring a contract software engineer to build the MVP of an influencer intelligence platform for an agency in the creator and brand partnerships space. The role involves building a functional, scalable platform integrating third-party APIs, with a focus on rapid delivery using AI-assisted development tools.

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to $13,500 USD for the MVP build, scoped to deliverables, not hours.

Responsibilities

• Build a two-tier platform integrating influencer data APIs and building a proprietary database layer.
• Support core operational workflows including creator search, campaign tracking, content monitoring, blacklisting, and reporting.
• Design architecture to support future growth and feature addition.

Requirements

• Active user of AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot.
• Proven experience building API integrations and working with third-party data sources.
• Track record of shipping MVPs or v1 products on tight timelines and budgets.
• Strong opinions on the right tech stack for this type of project.
• Comfortable working fully remote and async with weekly check-ins.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions in plain English.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
