Social Media Manager

A Social Media Specialist role focused on managing and enhancing the social media presence of Peyia 2014 FC, a sports club, through content creation, strategy, and engagement.

Location: Remote (Cyprus)

Salary: €1.45k–€1.85k

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the club's social media strategy.
• Manage and monitor all social media channels, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with the brand.
• Create and publish daily content across platforms, including organic, branded, sponsored, and marketing content.
• Develop innovative ideas for social media, focusing on video and graphics to increase engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce branded content and campaigns.
• Provide live social media coverage for matchdays and events.
• Build relationships with media to enhance media presence.
• Monitor social media stats and utilize analytics tools for performance measurement.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
• Contribute to the club's broader digital strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management, especially in sports or entertainment.
• Strong knowledge of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, WhatsApp.
• Experience with social media scheduling and reporting tools.
• Excellent content creation skills, especially in video and graphics, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Tellyo/Grabyo, Opta Match Graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure and make real-time decisions.
• Strong editorial judgment and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
