Senior Program Finance Analyst

We are hiring a Senior Program Financial Analyst to support a large upcoming program, providing financial analysis, long-term planning, management reporting, and fiscal year planning.

Salary: $82,100–$172,400

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and report all Task Order (TO) financial data to support the strategic plans of the client, Program Manager, Project Leads, and Program Operations Manager
  • Develop baseline budgets, forecasts, and Estimates at Completion (EACs) that detail the monthly and annual costs for labor, travel, materials, equipment, and ODCs
  • Work in conjunction with Compliance and is a liaison with DCMA/DCAA for forward pricing audits and analysis of actual rates
  • Collect and analyze data including revenues, expenses, costs, investments, cash flow, profits, interest rates and exchange rates
  • Interface with program management and senior leadership
  • Update forecasts and EACs monthly with actual costs incurred as well as updated forecast projections
  • Track and analyze variances and trends on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate with corporate contract and financial resources to ensure compliance with contractual cost reporting requirements
  • Coordinate updating contract pricing as needed to facilitate contract modifications and prepare ROM estimates
  • Respond to requests for financial data by preparing spreadsheets, financial presentations, briefing charts, and ad hoc reports
  • Track all funding at funding source and project levels as they relate to MIPRs
  • Track and report CLINs as the expended costs approach 75% of the funding
  • Attend the monthly IPRs and other financial review events
  • Review all project costs for accuracy and coordinate adjustments
  • Analyze subcontractor invoices and timecards for employees and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors’ funding in accordance with prime contractor’s funding from the client
  • Coordinate production of prime invoices and produce detailed backup documentation
  • Seek cost control improvements and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management, quantitative analysis, or financial analysis
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations and laws related to budgeting and resource management
  • Proficiency in automated program planning software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles
  • Prior experience with resource planning and budgeting practices
  • Experience interfacing with Program Managers and customers
