The Senior Director, Marketing Operations & Performance is a strategic and highly analytical leader responsible for building and scaling the Marketing Operations and Analytics function, driving data-informed decision-making, optimizing performance, and ensuring operational excellence in a complex B2B environment.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a robust analytics framework connecting marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and margin across multiple service lines.
- Define and standardize KPIs across regions and LOBs.
- Build dashboards and executive reporting for performance visibility.
- Advance attribution models for complex B2B sales cycles.
- Translate data into actionable insights for go-to-market strategies.
- Own and optimize marketing technology ecosystem.
- Partner with Sales Operations for funnel definitions, lead management, and reporting.
- Design and implement scalable lead and account management processes.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Establish and scale test-and-learn frameworks.
- Support strategic planning, forecasting, and budget allocation.
- Enable account-based marketing strategies.
- Serve as a key advisor to leadership.
- Build and lead a high-performing team.
- Drive alignment across marketing teams.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 10+ years in marketing operations, analytics, or commercial operations within a complex B2B organization.
- Experience in TIC, industrial services, engineering, or similar industries preferred.
- Proven track record of connecting marketing performance to revenue.
- Deep expertise in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical skills with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data modeling experience.
- Experience working across multiple business lines, regions, and stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
