Senior Account Manager - Carrier Sales

The Senior Account Manager - Carrier Sales at TDS Telecom is responsible for managing and growing the carrier sales revenue by maintaining existing customer relationships, managing sales projects, and identifying new business opportunities in the telecommunications sector.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $71,500.00/Yr. - $116,200.00/Yr.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing account base and take new sales from signed contract through project completion.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure delivery of contracted products.
• Manage Metasolv records and ensure circuits are in the provisioning system.
• Assist in managing customer relationships, handle MACD, and negotiate contract renewals.
• Guide carrier customers through the special construction process, including quoting, contracting, invoicing, and payment validation.
• Develop and implement annual growth and retention plans to meet sales goals.
• Maintain customer and prospect information, forecasts, and quotes.
• Enhance technical knowledge and interpersonal skills through training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 3+ years of inside or outside sales experience.
• 2+ years of carrier telecommunications sales experience and/or experience with Special Access Products (Ethernet, Sonet, DS3s, T-1s, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
