The Sales Manager for Latin America at Xirgo is responsible for building and executing regional commercial strategies, developing enterprise opportunities, and managing strategic accounts across LATAM, focusing on IoT fleet solutions.
Location: Mexico
Responsibilities
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy across Latin America, focusing on Mexico and broader LATAM expansion.
- Identify high-potential verticals, geographies, and customer segments for market entry and growth.
- Monitor competitive dynamics, regulatory environments, and market trends in the region.
- Represent Xirgo at industry events, trade shows, and partner forums.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new enterprise and mid-market opportunities in target verticals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline using CRM tools and forecast accurately.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key prospects and existing customers.
- Establish and grow partner and reseller networks in the region.
- Lead the full sales cycle from discovery to deal close.
- Conduct presentations and product demos for various stakeholders.
- Negotiate complex, multi-year agreements.
- Own regional revenue targets and deliver results.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer organizations.
- Act as a strategic advisor to key accounts.
- Partner with Customer Success and Technical teams for implementation.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Provide regional market intelligence.
- Serve as the voice of the LATAM customer internally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise or B2B sales, with at least 3 years in LATAM territory management.
- Proven experience selling IoT, telematics, SaaS, fleet management, or related technology solutions.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in Latin America.
- Experience building and managing channel or reseller partnerships in LATAM.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of LATAM business environment, customer expectations, procurement processes, and competitive landscape.
- Strong consultative selling skills.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Additional Information
- Remote work from home, must reside in Mexico.
- Expected travel: 40–50% across LATAM.
- Engagement type: Independent Contractor.
- Reports to: Sales Director, LATAM.
