Regional Sales Manager

ecobee is a global tech company known for smart thermostats and home automation solutions, committed to sustainability and innovation. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Mountain region, including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, and Alberta.

Location: Denver, Colorado

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (total compensation, including incentives)

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for new business sales to contractors and distributors.
• Conduct technical training and business planning with strategic partners.
• Expand distribution and product sales through existing and new distributor partners.
• Build, manage, train, and motivate an independent sales force supporting distributor and contractor partners.
• Recognize market trends and competitor activities, communicate findings to management.
• Prepare and report sales and territory activities using SalesForce.
• Prepare detailed forecasts of short and long-term sales objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales within a technical industry.
• Solid understanding of the two-step distribution process.
• Completed formal sales training program and practical application experience.
• Ability to travel within the Southwest Region and to Toronto for meetings.
• Proficient at working independently with a home office setup.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
• This position is fully remote.
