Product Designer

Location: Remote

Salary: $160k–$190k base + meaningful equity

Responsibilities

• Validate user goals, map key journeys, and identify core jobs to be done.
• Explore broadly with multiple concepts before narrowing down to the best solution.
• Design from zero to one and scale existing solutions, making them coherent and delightful.
• Communicate design decisions effectively to team members.
• Set and uphold the design bar, contributing to the development of the design system and philosophy.
• Participate in QA and measure impact to ensure the product's effectiveness.
• Impact hundreds of thousands of learners by shaping how AI is integrated into education.

Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping real software.
• Ability to manage the entire design process from understanding the problem to detailed specifications.
• Comfort with iterative, scrappy development and rapid prototyping.
• Desire to build category-defining products that genuinely change learning.
• Eagerness to learn and deepen understanding of education industry and design skills.
• Passion for education and building for its stakeholders.
