Market Director - Chicago

The Market Director at Thrivent is responsible for growing the market by attracting diverse talent into financial professional roles, developing new FPs, supporting their launch, and managing the market to meet strategic goals. The role involves recruiting, coaching, business planning, and community engagement, with a focus on diversity, leadership, and results.

Location: Remote-Illinois-Chicago

Salary: $145,000 - $211,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a recruiting strategy to attract diverse financial professional candidates.
• Develop and support new financial professionals and their practices.
• Conduct joint field work and coaching for new FPs.
• Collaborate with leadership, community, and corporate resources.
• Manage the market through business planning, leadership, and relationship building.

Requirements

• Proven sales results in financial services (e.g., investments, life insurance).
• Experience with Thrivent Financial Advice Process, Salesforce, and other tools.
• Experience in attracting talent and leading groups.
• Licensing: FINRA Series 7, 63/65/66, state insurance licenses, securities registration.
• Ability to travel and own a vehicle.
• Demonstrated performance and leadership skills.
