A Human Resources Assistant role supporting HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment process including posting jobs, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Prepare employee files and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Assist employees with HR inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and databases.
  • Ensure employee records are current and compliant with policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor HR procedures and compliance standards.
  • Support HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
  • Administer employee policies, handbooks, and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events.
  • Assist with performance review administration and employee development.
  • Coordinate internal HR communications.
  • Manage HR correspondence, calendars, and meeting schedules.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR documents.
  • Organize and maintain confidential personnel records.
  • Provide administrative support to HR Manager and leadership team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
