Head of Credit, Brazil

Tilt is seeking an experienced analytics leader to own the Credit function for their expanding presence in Brazil, focusing on developing risk models and credit policies for consumer cash advance products.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Responsibilities

• Own Credit Strategy for Brazil: Develop and refine credit policies, analyze to uncover insights.
• Collaborate on Data Science: Partner with Data Science team to influence and deploy models.
• Build Scalable Infrastructure: Develop frameworks, infrastructure, and controls for credit programs.
• Drive Growth with Leadership: Work with local and international leadership to build strategy and manage financial outcomes.
• Share Cross-Market Learnings: Partner with teams in the Philippines, Mexico, India, and the US to transfer strategies.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams.
• Grow the Team: Hire analysts and team members to support scaling the Brazilian business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics and credit risk management, preferably in Brazil.
• Proven leadership in managing and developing analyst teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and industry trends.
• Preference for candidates based in São Paulo.
