General Magic Product Manager

We are a team of designers, developers, system architects, researchers, writers, and Web3 professionals dedicated to building user-centric products and supporting blockchain startups to create a decentralized, censorship-resistant, and democratic internet.

Location: Remote (Europe, Middle East, North America, South America)

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budget spending, keep stakeholders updated on progress and escalate any risks.
• Work closely with colleagues in different teams (communication, development, design, marketing) to create a cohesive approach and deliver excellent user experience.
• Utilize a user-centric approach to discovery, using research to test assumptions and validate requirements.
• Regularly review processes and evaluate results.
• Define product vision based on business and user needs.
• Develop project briefs, reports, and status updates to share internally and externally.
• Guarantee the success of digital products and product lines.
• Create the roadmap to guide the trajectory of the product from conception through design and into wide release.
• Write specs, lead meetings, and manage backlog by making GitHub issues clear and understandable for all stakeholders and working groups.
• Own the product backlog and keep it up to date.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management and related experience.
• Experience taking ownership from start to finish.
• Strong familiarity with digital product management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Agile preferred).
• Excellent and up-to-date grasp of digital technologies, user experience design, and research techniques.
• Preferred candidates have web3 and some gamification experience.
