Executive Director, Corporate Development

Location: Remote (US, East Coast preferred; Greater NY or Greater Boston)

Salary: $250,000–$330,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute valuation deal models across all types of transactions.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships and other key transactions.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Support Medison’s Long-Range Plan and financial assessments.
• Conduct post-deal analysis and insights.
• Contribute to long-term value creation as a thought partner to the CBO and Executive Team.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing corporate development team.
• Lead integration of assessments into deal analysis.
• Represent Medison externally at industry conferences.

Requirements

• 10-15 years experience in corporate/business development within biotech/pharma, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or royalty firms.
• Successful track record in leading and closing late-stage and/or commercial stage transactions with biotech/pharma companies.
• Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, valuation methodologies (P&L, DCF, NPV, IRR, risk adjustments), and deal structuring.
• MBA or other advanced degree; additional scientific degree is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven, hands-on, excited by fast-paced hyper-growth company.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with C-level executives.

• Expected Base Pay Range: $250,000-$330,000 per annum.
• Starting pay depends on skills, experience, location, market conditions.
