Editor - Audio & Video

The Audio and Video Editor leads the transformation of B2B content into high-impact multimedia assets optimized for modern platforms. This role demands fluency in advanced editing, a sharp editorial eye, and an ability to turn complex discussions into visually compelling, platform-ready content. The editor is responsible for both long-form and short-form execution, balancing speed and quality while collaborating across production, marketing, and content teams.

Location: Remote (U.S. time zones)

Salary: $800–$1,500

Responsibilities

• Edit full-length podcast episodes for visual and audio clarity, pacing, and narrative flow
• Produce short-form, platform-specific content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and other channels
• Apply advanced techniques: sound mixing, motion graphics, captioning, transitions, and color correction
• Work with producers and hosts to shape editorial direction and identify high-impact segments
• Maintain consistent workflows across Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, or equivalent tools
• Optimize assets for SEO, thumbnails, and metadata to boost reach and discoverability
• Interpret platform analytics to adjust content strategy and increase retention and engagement
• Translate technical B2B topics into visually accessible content that performs with a professional audience
• Manage overlapping projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote team setting
• Deliver feedback-informed revisions and contribute to evolving best practices

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of short-form and podcast-to-video content with demonstrable performance metrics
• Mastery of video and audio editing tools: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Audition, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Deep understanding of digital storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific content strategies
• Experience editing for professional or B2B audiences with a clear sense of tone, clarity, and polish
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with content teams, SMEs, and marketers
• High attention to detail, with a process-driven approach and strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and creative challenges
• Availability to work during U.S. business hours and meet EST-aligned deadlines
